Royal Street was named by the Travel Channel as the "World's Best Street for Antiquing" (4 blocks) and Magazine Street is a six-mile strip of shopping with fabulous antiques to be found (2 miles). Both locations offer excellent antique shopping.

The Outlet Collection at Riverwalk is an upscale outlet center in a downtown setting. It has more than 75 retailers and restaurants and offers guilt-free shopping because of the steep discounts.  Distance: 10 blocks away

Canal Place

Home to more than 30 upscale stores, The Shops at Canal place is one of New Orleans' most exclusive shopping destinations. Distance: 8 blocks away - Saks Fifth Avenue

Biking & Jogging

There are several places ideal for biking and jogging throughout the city. Audubon Park wraps around a golf course and makes for a gorgeous scenic walk or run. City Park has a 3/4 mile long trail called Zemurray Trail with large outdoor sculptures and a live oak tree with large wind chimes that fill the air with beautiful notes. Bayou St. John is a 1.7 mile-long jogging and biking path along City Park. The Lakefront is along Lake Pontchartrain which is the second largest saltwater lake in the country. This makes the perfect location to walk for someone looking for beautiful water views. The Riverfront is a path that runs along Woldenberg Park. The Levee Path, also known as The Mississippi River Trail, is a 22 mile long paved path atop the Mississippi River levee. St. Charles Avenue is actually a grassy median that runs along the road. Though not an official running path, this is a popular location for runners and joggers.

St. Louis Cathedral

Positioned overlooking Jackson Square, The St. Louis Cathedral is one of New Orleans' most notable landmarks due to it's three steeples. Distance: 10 blocks.

National World War II Museum

The National World War II Museum is one of the top-rated tourist destinations in New Orleans and is also rated the #3 museum in the country by TripAdvisor. This museum features exhibits with a wide variety of artifacts and first-person oral histories to take visitors inside the story of the war.  Distance: 1 mile.

TPC Louisiana offers a Championship Golf Course for the public to enjoy and play. Named "the #4 best upscale public golf course" by Golf Digest Magazine. TPC has hosted the Zurich Classic since 2005 and remains the only PGA Tour event in the region.
