RELIVE THE 80S AT ONE EYED JACKS

In a town full of cool music venues, One Eyed Jacks manages to make an impression. A local fave since it was the Shim-Sham Club, this French Quarter darling is known for its early bordello décor (love the red velvet curtains and chandeliers) great dance floor and wildly eclectic music offerings. An intimate venue for everything from heavy metal to burlesque, the club’s Thursday night 80s dance party is a can’t sit down party. Attracting a group of straight and gay regulars often decked out in shoulder pads and vinyl, the music is a non-stop tribute to glam bands and big hair. You know you secretly want to dance to Jessie’s Girl, what are you waiting for? This place rocks.
